About babyO

My inspiration for babyO was my beautiful daughter Jordan. I created babyO just after my daughter turned 6 months old. The idea came about rather quickly. After experiencing a premature birth and a history of asthma, allergies and skin sensitivities in our family, my husband and I didn't want to take any risks with our daughter's health and wanted to make sure that we could provide her with the best start to life. Among other things, I started the search for natural and organic products, surely it couldn't be that hard to find...

After much research and effort I found that natural products in comparison to conventional products were not only kinder for my baby's skin, but also healthier given that many of the products I found are made without the use of toxic chemicals, and grown free of pesticides and fertilizers. I began to test products on her skin, in her bedding and her food and started to notice a difference to my baby's health. It was then I decided to move forward with the idea of babyO and in May 2010 babyO was born.

Your babies spend most of their time sleeping and thus it is the focus of our business to provide parents with high quality, healthy choices when it comes to baby's sleeping environment. We have handpicked a selection of natural fibres that are soft, kind and not irritable against your baby’s delicate skin. We continue to source new and innovative products from Australian and New Zealand designers and we hope you enjoy visiting our store.
