Convertible Booster Seats are used in a forward-facing position only up until the age of approx 4 years old. It then converts into a booster seat with the use of a lap-sash seatbelt. Harnessed Car Seats are also used in forward-facing position only with a built-in harness up until the age of approximately 8 years.
